BASE METALS
Our jewelry is crafted with a highly durable 18k PVD Gold Plating over stainless steel or brass. The PVD coating increases the lifespan of our jewelry, making it waterproof and longer lasting.
What is PVD Coating? It’s a cutting-edge, eco-friendly process that bonds with the base metal at the molecular level. It is much more durable and longer lasting than regular gold plating. This is a Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) process and the jewelry is plated with at least 0.1 micron of 18k Gold.
Gold plating offers superior tarnish resistance. When gold is electroplated onto a metal, the result is a product that combines elegance and durability. The metal base provides a strong and stable foundation, preventing the gold layer from reacting with external elements like moisture, air, or chemicals, which can cause tarnishing in other materials.
PEARLS & SHELLS
Our freshwater pearls and shells are natural materials, so you may notice variations in color and shape, which is entirely normal and reflects the unique characteristics of each element.
JEWELRY CARE
To safeguard the shine of your jewelry and its plating, avoid exposing it to excessive water, perfumes, lotions, and sweat. We recommend always removing your jewelry before swimming, exercising, or bathing, only to ensure that the color of the plating does not fade over time.
If you wear our jewelry every day in the shower for example, then you'll find that the gold plating will not fade for at least six months. It is fashion jewelry and not solid gold, therefore the gold plating could fade over time.

- Limit excessive exposure to water
- Use a jewelry cloth to clean off everyday oils
- Avoid contact with chemicals such as lotions & perfumes
- Rinse your pieces with cold water especially after prolonged exposure to chlorinated or salt water and dry with a soft cloth
